of Dolores Roberson |
|||
| Nationally known artist Dolores Roberson painted what she knew and loved . From a chipmunk to a red wolf, a delicate flower, or a majestic mountain scene, her work speaks for itself. Dolores lived a “semi- quiet” life surrounded by the mountains in Townsend, Tennessee, bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Having “mothered” innumerable birds and animals, her paintings reflect her love of nature as well her artistic talent. | |||

| Much of Dolores’ life was spent working for the Lord. She was an active member of the Church of God, Women's Aglow, and the Blount County Jail Ministry. Bible study groups often met in her home. Dolores passed away in February, 2000. Her art work is still with us bringing beauty to our homes, but the spiritual work she did will last eternally. | |||
