trails are a wonderful place to
wander up and down the Townsend
area. The grades are easy and offer
a great way to enjoy the
surroundings. Claiming to be "the
Peaceful Side of the Smokies" is
taken seriously by the residents of
this community... so whether you are
strolling, rolling in a wheelchair
or biking enjoy the Peaceful Side!

business travel markets.
The Visitors Bureau
operates the Maryville
Welcome Center and the
Townsend Visitors
Center. This
facility is equipped with ramps in
the back for wheelchairs and
scooters.
